Narrative Description of Project: |
|
|
|
The
project offered necessary technical support needed to establish the
basic foundation of software industry in Egyptian Rural
Governorates. The target was to establish professional groups
capable of competing internationally and to market the products of
this industry to the Arab and foreign market.
The
project also provided the experience with what other countries got
when they first entered the race for effective competition in this
field. The project included technical and economic feasibility study
to direct surplus manpower forces in some selected governorates
toward establishing software industry capable of competing outside
the territory of Egypt. The analysis also covered the studying of
the domestic market and available manpower resources that can be
employed in this industry in the following Governorates: Beni Suef
and Fayoum (Upper Egypt) and Kaliobia and Sharkia (Delta Region).
This was besides carrying out field study of international markets
that have the ability to import the products and services created by
this industry.
